Как узнать дорогу
Если вы хотите быть вежливым, то нужно сказать Excuse me в начале вопроса или please в конце. Если же вы скажете и то, и другое, то ваш вопрос прозвучит довольно формально.
How do I get to…? | Как мне дойти до (попасть в)….? |
Is there a … near here? | Тут рядом есть… ? |
Could/Can you tell me the way to… ? | Не могли бы вы показать мне дорогу до …? |
Could/Can you tell me where the… is? | Не могли бы вы сказать мне, где находится …? |
Примечание
Could звучит вежливее, чем can.

Keep going until you get to… | Идите до тех пор, пока не дойдете до… |
Take the first/second turn on your left/right. | Первый/второй поворот налево/направо. |

A. Excuse me. Could you tell me the way to the library, please?
B. Yes, sure. Go straight on and keep going until you get to the square. Then turn left and keep going until you get to the crossroads. Turn right at the crossroads and the library’s on your left.
A. Thank you very much.
A. How do I get to the park, please?
B. Take a right at the crossroads. Then go past the lake and keep going until you get to the park.
